Founded in 1895 as a private course by the Williams-Bulkeley family of Baron Hill, only friends and guests Beaumaris Marinawere allowed to play until 1950 onwards when it became a members club. The original clubhouse was destroyed by fire on New Years Eve 1990 and the replacement was opened in 1997.
